My photo
My name is Anne-Marie and I hail from Bolton, Lancashire. This is my first foray into blogging. I hope to record what inspires me and anything that makes it past the drawing board!. I recently retired and so have lots more time to play.

Colin has found the rocking horse that grandma has in her window. He has been rocking on it and it is now on the coffee table. I think he thinks he is woody

Day two - What has Colin been up to?

Colin has been busy . This is magic to show us that he
would like us to put up the tree I think!

That lady in the bauble looks familiar .
Where is Colin?
You had better ask Grandad to look for him tonight.

Colin has already made himself at home!

Colin is looking out of the window. We haven't got our tree up yet but some of our neighbours homes have. We did get a card from Millie. Her tree is fabulous! Colin hasn't moved since we brought him home. The parcel he was bringing on his sleigh has found it's way to Millie x

Christmas Crafting !

Would like to have started earlier as I had several ideas. Hoping to decorate the main tree in the foyer at work in the shabby chic style. I plan to have lots of beads, bling and vintage items.
I purchased some paper cache bird houses and have made some fabric hearts from my stash.
These have been more fiddle and time consuming than I thought but I have made a start .

Hopefully my toothache will do one and the root canal work will render me bright eyed and bushy tailed ! Not my best week.

Have to finalise plans for the elf on the shelf tomorrow  so should be kept busy.

What's on my needles?

Not much happening on the craft front at the moment . New babies to knit for but so time poor. Too much time spent on Pinterest! Have started a board for Christmas and one for knitting projects. I have a blanket on my needles and hope that something that doesn't take too much thought will get finished.

Thinking Christmas lots to do !

Time to think about presents that need to be bought and the Christmas Fayre at work. Hoping to make  some shabby chic decorations as part of the theme for the four at work. We try to ring the changes each year.

Family

Sunday for most of us is an opportunity to spend time with family. I always think  about what everyone is doing on a Sunday as we are all scattered about the place and have precious little time together. Feeling very sorry for myself today must break open a Toblerone.
All of us together for Mr Forever's 60th

I have returned!

When I created the blog I intended to post regularly. I have to admit that that working full time has meant that that I have had no time for crafting and painting which was what this blog space was meant to show case.
Well I am determined to make time and thought that rather than wait for the New Year I would start now!

Today is my youngest daughter's Birthday - she's gorgeous!
